"My fitness journey probably began around 2017–18, when the weighing scale showed 85 kg for my 5 feet 7 inches frame. I started cardiovascular exercises at Ufit Gym under the guidance of Mr. Gora Ganguly. My weight came down to 75 kg. Not only that, I began to notice improvements in my work capacity, endurance, and self-confidence. However, due to scheduling conflicts and certain gym policy issues, I had to discontinue training with Mr. Ganguly. I then began weight training under another trainer. Unfortunately, due to incorrect posture, I suffered a shoulder injury that developed into a frozen shoulder. Although six months of continuous physiotherapy brought my shoulder back to near-normal condition, I felt a lingering hesitation about resuming exercise. Eventually, I overcame that hesitation and restarted working out, but I wasn’t feeling satisfied—there was a noticeable lack of motivation. In the meantime, Mr. Ganguly had completed his training from K11 Fitness Academy. On the advice of my old gym mate Asim Mallik, I resumed fitness training under Mr. Ganguly again around 2024. I am now 53 years old, and I am still motivated. This motivation largely comes from Mr. Gora Ganguly. Based on my seven to eight years of exercise experience, I can confidently say that the school of thought he follows in training is the most scientific approach I have encountered. He does not merely conduct training sessions; he explains the science and anatomy behind each exercise, ensuring that no injuries occur due to incorrect posture. Moreover, his pleasant personality motivates everyone so much that missing even a single day at the gym feels like the day has remained incomplete."
